Story #1, Part 3 (by:klee)

After our awkward moment on the bus, I limped to my locker to put my backpack away.

The hall ways were crowed with lots of teenagers. Its hard for a freshman to get around in this school, especially short me.

When I finally made it to my locker I saw Nora waiting quietly for me.

Nora is a shy girl. She doesn't talk much, but when she does, she usually says some thing intelligent or very odd, rarely will she say any thing normal. She has blond hair that cuts off at her shoulders and has brilliant green eyes. Her skin is pale white like falling snow.

Oh, and one more thing. She is like me (meaning she also has powers, although I don't have mine yet). She is a healer. A healer is kinda like a doctor, but uses magic like a witch. She specializes in medicine and is very intelligent. Her job is to help my kind, and people in need (even bad people).

"Hey! I hope you haven't been waiting long. My brother twisted my ankle this morning so I'm a bit slow." I open my locker up and start putting my stuff in, waiting for her reply.

"I'll fix it up later, he twisted it bad." She said, with out making eye contact.

"Thanks, that would be great!" I smile as I get my stuff out of my locker.

"You had a fight with him." Nora says, with no emotion what so ever.


I scrunched up my face a little. How can she all ways tell what going on! Its like she reads your mind or some thing.

"I'm not reading your mind, just your body language." Nora explains.

Yep shes reading my mind for sure. "Um, yeah I guess. He lost control just for a couple of seconds. So I asked if he wanted some you know what. But of course he said no. Gosh he really irritates me some times!"

"But you like him any ways."

I felt my face turning red. "Yeah..." How could I not?

"Well don't worry about it. I have to go Ally. I'll come to your house later and fix your ankle. Don't be late to class."

She hugs me but whispers some thing in my ear "Don't worry." And with that she leaves me.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I look for the table that Aidan and I sit at. He all ways leaves me an open spot right next to him because our table is pretty popular (and what I mean by that is Aidan is pretty popular). Aidan and his friends are all ready there, chatting as usual. I sat down in the seat next to him and slowly eat the apple I brought from home.

I start to eaves drop on their conversation.
"Hey Aidan, did you see what happened in English today?"
Aidan nodded with a big grin on his face.
"Yeah! how could I not? I cant believe that some one placed tacks on Mr.Lees chair! And the cuss words that he let out, hilarious!"
"Yeah man! He was pissed!"

They started laughing. It was kinda funny, Mr.Lee is pretty strict and for him to cuss in class, that must have been a sight to see.

"So Aidan" says one oh his friends "Were gonna go to the movies on Saturday, you and Ally should come."

I stopped chewing my apple. The movies? with Aidan!?! My face was again red. I turned to see some of Aidan's friends giggling. I wonder why they think its funny?

"That sounds like a lot of fun! Ally you will go with me right?"

I look up at him. His face was full of joy. "Um of course!"
What did I just do. WHAT DID I JUST DO!! I turned away and started staring at the table. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. I don't know if I should be happy or worried. What if I embarrass my self in font of him!?

"Great! Well why don't we all see that new horror movie at 7pm, and after that we'll will go and get some ice cream at McDonald's!"

Aidan grins. "I'll be there!" He turns to me. "Ally I'll come by your house and pick you up and we'll walk to the bus together okay?"

WALK TOGETHER?!?! "Um," I stamper, "That would be great!"
He smiles a me and we continue with lunch.
